Join the Conserving Coniston & Crake team and the National Trust for a day of fun, freshwater activities on the edge of Coniston Water.

Get active and arty – skim stones, paint pebbles and look for minibeasts in a stream. It’s also International Year of the Salmon so make your own willow fish with Willowpool Designs and play the salmon run game.

We’ll also be looking in the moth trap at 10.30am to see what moths are found in the buffer strip near the beck.

Parking at the site is extremely limited near the lake shore. You can easily walk or cycle along the lake shore from Coniston village, only a short distance away.
