The Coniston & Crake Catchment Partnership is pleased to announce that it has received support from Nurture Lakeland for Conserving Coniston & Crake, through their small grants fund. This support from Nurture Lakeland is invaluable, as it both contributes towards the development of the project, and also reinforces the need for Conserving Coniston & Crake and what it aims to achieve.

Nurture Lakeland said that they “were delighted to be able to support the work of the Coniston and Crake Partnership through our small grants fund. The funds were raised by local accommodation businesses who ask their guests to make a small donation when they pay their bill. Visitors to Cumbria love to have the chance to get involved and contribute to the landscape that they have come to enjoy. It’s great for businesses too – we know that keeping our natural environment in great shape is key to keeping visitors coming back time and time again. We look forward to hearing all about the successes of the project.”
